Universal Waste Systems (UWS) is the trash, recycling, and compost hauler for Northeast Los Angeles, including areas of Highland Park, Eagle Rock, Echo Park, Silverlake, East Hollywood, Chinatown, El Sereno, Atwater Village, Frogtown, Glassell Park, Linkin Heights, and Los Feliz. The Zero Waste Team is here to help promote and educate the community about recycling and composting. We help people set up connections within the local community with food donations, food drop-offs, and even recycling diversion.
