Rot: Composting Food Scraps

Composting is a key to creating a more circular economy and keeping harmful methane out of our atmosphere. While compost is often thought of as backyard food scrap piles, there are also curbside pick up or local drop-offs. Compostable LA offers curbside pick-ups, while LA Compost and LA Worm Farm offer drop-off locations at local farmers' markets. There are also resources for food donations or local public-run compost piles.
